We will pray for the souls of ninety-three parishioners who were buried from our church since last year. All family members, friends and neighbors of those we loved are welcomed to this special Mass as part of our All Souls remembrance in November.

The Nocturnal Adoration Society conducts Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 7:00 PM in the church. A Holy Hour will begin at 8:00 PM and conclude with benediction. All are invited to spend time before the Blessed Sacrament.
DEFENSIVE DRIVING CLASS

BLESSING OF VETERANS

In commemoration of Veterans' Day a salute and blessing of all veterans will take place. Men and women who have generously served us in the armed forces will be recognized for their bravery and valor. There will be a special blessing and a token of appreciation will be distributed to all veterans. Please invite family members, friends, neighbors and acquaintances who are veterans to this time of prayer and gratitude.

FIRST EUCHARIST PREPARATION MASS

The acclaimed film, THE CASE FOR CHRIST, with Mike Vogel, Erika Christensen and Faye Dunaway will be shown o n the big screen and it's FREE! The movie is based on a true story in 1980 about a "Chicago Tribune" award-winning investigative journalist, named Walt Strobel, who is a self proclaimed atheist. Walt sets out to disprove the existence of God after his daughter is saved by a nurse and Walt's wife becomes a Christian. Young men and women will be formally enrolled into the Parish Confirmation Program. As they prepare to complete their initiation into the Catholic Church through the reception of Confirmation, the months ahead will be significant in their young lives as they bear witness to the fullness of the Holy Spirit through study, prayer and service. Please keep this year's confirmandi in your daily prayers.

This first annual event sponsored by the Holy Name Society is opened to all men in the parish and following the 9:30 AM Mass there will be a hearty and delicious breakfast including bacon and eggs, roasted potatoes and bagels, coffee, tea, juices and much more. We welcome Father Patrick Griffin from Saint John.s University who will speak on "Learning from Saint Joseph . . . the husband, the father, the man!" Tickets are only $10.00 per person ($15.00 at the door) and are available after Mass today in the Gathering Space. Tickets can also be purchased this coming week in the Parish Office. All men in the parish are encouraged to come and meet each other, enjoy some good food and grow through the example of the holy man, Saint Joseph.

The clergy and congregations from St. Paul's International Lutheran Church, Bellerose Jewish Center, Temple Sholom of Floral Park and Our Lady of the Snows will reflect on God's bounty and goodness through prayer and in song.
