EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

The Nocturnal Adoration Society conducts Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 7:00 PM in the church. A Holy Hour will begin at 8:00 PM and conclude with benediction.  All are invited to spend time before the Blessed Sacrament.

 

FIRST EUCHARIST DAY

At 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM the children will receive their First Eucharist in the church and all are encouraged to pray for them and their families.

All are welcomed to enjoy a delicious evening with signature dishes from some of our neighborhood’s great restaurants!  Treat yourself and guests to a fun night of food samples from these fine places of dining and enjoy each other’s company.  Beverages and desserts will be offered along with live entertainment! Now is the time to make your reservation. The cost is only $25.00 per adult ($30.00 at the door) and registration forms are in the Gathering Space and tickets at the Parish Office.

BLESSING OF MEDICAL PERSONNEL

All parishioners in the medical field including doctors, nurses, paramedics, healthcare aides, physician assistants. medical technicians and others are welcomed to receive a special blessing and beautiful prayer card.  We thank medical personnel who assist the sick and infirmed and help to enhance their quality of life

 

MORNING OF RECOLLECTION

The Human Concerns Center sponsors this annual event for all parishioners beginning with morning Mass in the church at 9:00 AM.  We welcome Sister Karen Cavanaugh, CSJ, Spiritual Director and Retreat Director.  Sister Karen will reflect on the theme: “Blessed Are They- Theirs is the Kingdom . . . “ The day will include spiritual presentations, an opportunity for confessions, a light breakfast and much more.  Offering is $10.00 per person and registration forms are in the Gathering Space.

FLORES DE MAYO

The Filipino-American Community invites everyone to celebrate the “Flowers of May,” in honor of Our Lady of the Snows with Mass at 5:00 PM.  Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 3:30 PM followed by a street procession displaying various images of Mary.  The procession route will be: starting from the front of the church, proceed to 80th Avenue and make a left onto 80th Avenue to 260 Street.  At 260 Street, make a right and proceed to 81st Avenue. At 81st Avenue, make a right and proceed towards 259 Street.  Make a right and proceed back to the front of the church. Father Anthony Gonzales will be the main celebrant. Following the Mass there will be a festive reception in St. Joseph Hall.  All are welcomed to this parish celebration in honor of Our Lady of the Snows!
