We will pray for the souls of ninety-three parishioners who were buried from our church since last year. All family members, friends and neighbors of those we loved are welcomed to this special Mass as part of our All Souls remembrance in November.

RADIO BINGO

Join us for a night of Bingo and “Name That Tune” featuring music of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and the tunes of Motown, Disco and so much more!  Beer, wine, soda and snacks will be provided and bring your own finger foods to share.  Tickets are only $25.00 per adult ($30.00 at the door) and are now available at the Parish Office.  Join in this unforgettable night for “this ain’t you grandma’s bingo!”

FAMILY MASS

DEDICATION OF ST. JOSEPH HALL

Please join us this morning following the 11:00 AM Mass as we bless and dedicate St. Joseph Hall, the former White Room.  The Sisters of St. Joseph in the convent will be present as we honor them and the many sisters who have served the parish and school over the years.  Light refreshments will follow.

FIRST EUCHARIST PREPARATION MASS

BLESSING OF VETERANS

In commemoration of Veterans’ Day a salute and blessing of all veterans will take place. Men and women who have generously served us in the armed forces will be recognized for their bravery and valor.  There will be a special blessing and a token of appreciation will be distributed to all veterans.  Please invite family members, friends, neighbors and acquaintances who are veterans to this time of prayer and gratitude.

CONFIRMATION ENROLLMENT

Young men and women will be formally enrolled into the Parish Confirmation Program.  As they prepare to complete their initiation into the Catholic Church through the reception of Confirmation, the months ahead will be significant in their young lives as they bear witness to the fullness of the Holy Spirit through study, prayer and service.  Please keep this year’s confirmandi in your daily prayers.

MENS’ BREAKFAST

This second annual event sponsored by the Holy Name Society is opened to all men in the parish and following the 9:30 AM Mass there will be a hearty and delicious breakfast including sausage and eggs, roasted potatoes and bagels, coffee, tea, juices and much more.  We welcome Deacon Greg Kandra, Multimedia Editor for Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA) and former writer and producer for CBS News.  Deacon Greg will speak on “Beyond the Parade, the Football and the Turkey: Putting the ‘Thanks’ Back into Thanksgiving.” Tickets are only $15.00 per person ($20.00 at the door) and are available after Mass today in the Gathering Space. Tickets can also be purchased this coming week in the Parish Office. All men in the parish are encouraged to come, meet each other and enjoy some good food and thoughts.

THANKSGIVING INTERFAITH SERVICE

St. Paul’s International Lutheran Church

The clergy and congregations from St. Paul’s International Lutheran Church, Bellerose Jewish Center, Temple Sholom of Floral Park and Our Lady of the Snows will reflect on God’s bounty and goodness through prayer and in song. Invite family members, fellow parishioners and neighbors to this special night of recognition and thanksgiving.  Light refreshments will be offered following the service.

PARISH THANKSGIVING LITURGY

Let us come together as a parish family and give thanks for God’s bounty shared among all of us.  At the end of Mass each family will receive a decorative placemat containing prayers to be offered at their Thanksgiving table.
